Before joining Berluti McLaughlin & Kutchin LLP, April gained valuable experience at large law firms where she supported high-stakes litigation and patent prosecution matters. She began her career as a paralegal at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP in New York City after earning a B.A. from the University of Michigan. Subsequently, she has worked in several of Boston’s top law firms, including Nutter McClennan & Fish LLP, Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., and Goodwin Procter LLP, where she gained experience across a diverse range of federal and state civil litigation practice areas, includes complex commercial litigation, antitrust, mass tort, product liability, patent litigation, and family law, with an additional specialization in patent prosecution.

Since joining Berluti McLaughlin & Kutchin LLP, April has expanded her expertise to include employment, bankruptcy, contract, real estate, and criminal litigation matters, as well as trademark prosecution. Her depth of experience enables her to support clients through every stage of the legal process, from case initiation to discovery, trial, and appeals, providing skilled guidance and steadfast support.

April has consistently demonstrated an ability to manage complex litigation case files by utilizing various case management software tools. She excels in case file management, team leadership, and coordination during complex legal proceedings. April has played a pivotal role in integrating advanced legal technologies, including AI-driven legal tools, to streamline document review, case management, and workflow automation. Her expertise in managing document productions, preparing exhibits, and assisting with trial preparation is well-recognized. In addition to litigation support, April’s responsibilities include preparing trademark filings and creating detailed financial summaries.
